Schrinner confident councillor can work remotely after giving birth

“As always, I am happy to work with council to see changes made and equity achieved,” she said.

Cr Schrinner said it was “just not accurate” that council had said she could not join meetings remotely via video-conferencing app Zoom, and he criticised the deputy Labor leader for speaking publicly about the issue while discussions with council were “ongoing”.

“No one has ever said ‘no’ to her about this, they’ve simply said that – and this was the CEO – the technology that’s being used at the moment wouldn’t allow that,” Cr Schrinner said.
