Daniel Baumgart wanted by Queensland Police following alleged Gympie murder

Queensland detectives have escalated the search for a man who may have information about an alleged murder that occurred more than a week ago.

Police want to speak to Daniel Baumgart, 38, about the alleged murder of a 43-year-old Crestmead man whose body was found near Gympie on November 1.

It’s believed the victim was involved in a fight with three other men.
