More than 90,000 cars remain on Australian roads as Takata deadline looms – Sydney Morning Herald
The car industry is desperately trying to locate 90,898 cars with potentially deadly Takata airbags.
Australias top consumer watchdog had issued the deadline to have all airbags rectified or accounted for and most state authorities have agreed to ban the registration renewal or ownership transfer of cars that have not had airbags replaced.
