SpaceX has launched a public beta test of its Starlink communications satellite program, which aims to provide high-speed Internet access worldwide, especially in underserved areas.
The aerospace manufacturer, founded by Elon Musk, sent out e-mails inviting people who signed up to its Starlink website to check for updates to the program.
The initial Starlink service is called “Better Than Nothing Beta”, as shown by several screenshots of an email, CNBC reported.
