Trains boss claims $10,000 cash was a gambling win – The Australian Financial Review

Mr Pinder said he wanted to keep conversations secret because he had “done the wrong thing” and had borrowed money from people he shouldn’t have and was in a gambling arrangement with the CEO of Transclean. He did not disclose any conflicts of interest to V/Line’s board.
“I was thinking I was going to lose my job, which means I lose everything and the reputation that I have established,” he told the hearing.
