Ikea’s 2021 catalogue delayed as company removes potentially offensive image

Ikeas release of its widely anticipated yearly catalogue has been stalled in the US this year as the company removed a potentially offensive photograph.The image showed a black man trying to assemble furniture while wearing a shirt that, to some, resembled an inmate’s uniform, according to a report confirmed by FOX Business.
Ikea delayed publishing the print version of its 2021 catalogue – of which more than 200 million copies are reportedly printed each year – because of the photo.
