Latest data from Public Health England reveals that new areas of alarmingly high infection rates are emerging in and around Birmingham
New coronavirus hotspots have emerged in and around Birmingham in the latest data from Public Health England.
For Birmingham local authority area as a whole, the most recent figures – released on Monday – showed an R rate of 260.5 per 100,000 people in the seven days to October 19, up from 213.1 for the previous seven-day period.
