The space probe lets the first Venus fly by on its…
A spaceship flying to Mercury swung off Venus Thursday, using Earths neighbor to adjust its course en route to the solar systems smallest and innermost planet. The European-Japanese probe BepiColombo, launched almost two years ago, took a black and white snapshot of Venus from a distance of 17,000 kilometers with some of its own instruments in the frame.
