Victorian politics had quite a day yesterday, so you would be excused if you missed a peculiar moment that deserves some attention.Amid the failed no-confidence motion in Premier Daniel Andrews, his colleague, Labor MP Will Fowles, delivered a speech that might have sounded familiar.
That’s because parts of it, either deliberately or unconsciously, were lifted from ’90s US TV drama The West Wing, and, specifically, fictional US President Jed Bartlet, played by Martin Sheen.
