Man charged after allegedly stabbing Queensland teacher

A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after allegedly stabbing a teacher in her home in far north Queensland.
The 26-year-old Lockhart River man was arrested on Wednesday after attacking the female victim, 25, at her address in Blady Grass St, Lockhart River on Tuesday night.
Police allege the man approached the woman’s home at 9.30pm asking for medication and water.
