Aldi customer finds prison inmate’s message in packet of jail-made pegs
An inmate at a South Australian prison, keen to find a penpal, has left a note inside a popular Aldi product he helped manufacture. An Aldi customer found a handwritten message inside a packet of Hegs Pegs with Hooks, a product made in Australia that recently sold out in the chain’s most recent Special Buys sale.
“Did anyone else buy these fantastic Aussie made pegs from ALDI last week and get a secret message inside the packaging?” wrote Louise on the Aldi Mums Facebook group.
