I made a ’90s dimension to understand Crash Bandicoot 4 better – Polygon
In order to develop nostalgia for Crash Bandicoot, Brian David Gilbert created a pocket dimension in his apartment to speedrun the late ‘90s.
I was too young to experience the original Crash Bandicoot.
The game came out in 1996, when I was just two years old. I was too busy learning basic motor skills to be able to experience the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy in its time, and as a result, I never developed the nostalgia that so many other gamers feel for this orange marsupial.
