Mt Isa, Lake Macdonald, Acacia Ridge crash
Two people have died, one woman is fighting for life and seven others are injured following a horror night on Queensland’s roads on Sunday.
Police are investigating the three separate crashes in Acacia Ridge, Mount Isa, and Lake Macdonald, as the long weekend draws to a close.
Shortly after 6pm in Acacia Ridge, a 59-year-old man was walking across Beaudesert Road when he was struck by a passing vehicle. He suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
