Sydney, Brisbane motorists fill up before long weekend
Motorists hitting the road for the long weekend in Sydney and Brisbane have been urged to fill up now as fuel prices start to spike.
The average price per litre for unleaded in Sydney on Friday morning was $1.12 while in Brisbane it was $1.09, according to the NRMA.
NRMA spokesman Peter Khoury told NCA NewsWire the price was going up in both cities as travellers prepare to hit the road for the long weekend in both states.
