The dangerous apps have been downloaded more than 100,000 times.
Android users are being urged to manually delete more than a dozen dangerous apps from their phones.
Google this week removed 17 Android applications from the Play Store after security researchers found they were infected with malware.
The spyware is designed to steal SMS messages, contact lists and device information, security research firm Zscaler said.
