New carbon nanomaterial could deliver faster, higher efficiency electronics
Graphene nanoribbon: Scanning tunnelling microscope image of a wide-band metallic graphene nanoribbon (GNR). Each cluster of protrusions corresponds to a singly occupied electron orbital.
