Formula 2 Russian Grand Prix abandoned after horrific crash

The Formula 2 Russian Grand Prix in Sochi has been abandoned after a horrific crash which resulted in two cars engulfed in flames.Red flags were shown on the eighth lap of Sunday’s event after Luca Ghiotto of Hitech Grand Prix and Jack Aitken of Campos Racing clipped each other while battling for position at the third corner, crashing into the barriers.
The sprint race was abandoned when the cars went up in flames, and both drivers thankfully walked away from the incident unscathed.
