Blood Test To Predict High Risk Coronavirus Patients – ClickLancashire

This is not the first study of its kind, as in the past few months several studies have been published, exploring the biomarkers to identify patients, who are under the extreme risk of developing severe illness and death from the novel Coronavirus. COVID-19 certainly is more unsafe, on average, in the elderly or those with pre-existing health problems, but that doesn’t preclude a 96-year-old from presenting with no symptoms, or a healthy 21-year-old losing her life.
