Qld welcomes ACT residents as COVID-19 restrictions ease
Queenslanders are on Friday enjoying their first day of new-found freedom after the state recorded a COVID-19 milestone and the state throws open its borders to the ACT.
Effective from 1am on Friday, ACT residents are now able to fly into Queensland without needing to quarantine, with dozens expected to arrive on the seven flights bound for the sunshine state today, in time for school holidays.
