Who is the big-firm laggard on pro-bono hours? – The Australian Financial Review
The legal profession can give itself a pat on the back for its pro bono efforts – except for one big firm.

The report doesn’t put names next to the numbers. (The table of “Pro bono Hours per Lawyer in fy2020 Firm by Firm” is a bit of a tease it simply lists, firm 1 etc.) However, the centre’s chairman, Phillip Cornwall, said there were six large firms (50-plus lawyers) “with average-per-lawyer hours in single figures”.
“We would like to see governments and corporates take the next step by pressing the chronic underachievers to show how they will redress this imbalance.”
