Its one of the best-loved Christmas movies of the 21st century and there could have been a sequel were it not for a surprising behind-the-scenes feud.Comedian Will Ferrell starred in the 2003 festive hit Elf, playing Buddy, a human raised among elves in the North Pole who travels to New York to find his real father.
Directing was Jon Favreau, the actor-turned-director who’d go onto even greater success at the helm of films like Iron Man, The Jungle Book and The Lion King.
