John Lennon’s killer Mark David Chapman explains his ‘despicable’ crime
Mark David Chapman was seeking glory when he killed John Lennon in 1980, he said in his latest parole hearing.Chapman made the comments last month when he faced the parole board for the 11th time — and was again denied. As in previous parole board hearings, the killer, 65, expressed remorse for shooting dead the former Beatle outside the musician’s Manhattan apartment building.
