Police shoot man on Queensland island
A man has died after being shot multiple times by police on an island in Queensland’s southeast.
The Courier Mail is reporting the man was shot after coming at officers with a weapon at 9.15am this morning.
Paramedics were assessing the man for critical injuries, but he later died.
A Queensland Police spokesman confirmed police had shot a man in an incident on the island located about 40km from Brisbane CBD.
