Diamonds are a computer engineer’s best friend – Brisbane Times
Australian scientists have developed working diamond computer chips, opening the possibility of cheaper, faster and more powerful electronics.

But one of the disadvantages, and it is a big one, is that diamond naturally is not a conductor, so an electrical current will not pass through it.

To get around the problem, the research team developed a solution.
