Government announces $13 million in funding for community nursing
Nurses are set to be recognised for their immense contributions in keeping Australians safe as a part of Nursing in the Community Week.Starting on Monday, the week is about recognising the important role nurses have played during the pandemic and ensuring the most vulnerable are kept safe and healthy.
The federal government is planning to highlight the important role nurses have played for remote and regional communities, particularly in Indigenous and Defence Force health services.
