Hollywood heavyweight Tom Hanks has touched down on Australian soil after returning to finish filming Baz Luhrmanns Elvis Presley biopic.He arrived at Coolangatta on Tuesday evening in a private jet before being taken to a luxury hotel to serve his two-week quarantine period.
Filming was suspended in March after the coronavirus crisis started to reach its peak.
Mr Hanks and his wife Rita both contracted the virus – reportedly before they arrived in Australia.
