Properties raided for guns and copper wire
Organised thieves have raided homes and businesses across central Queensland for copper wire and firearms, including more than a dozen guns from one property, over the past six months.
One raid netted the robbers almost a tonne of copper wire, worth at least $7000 in scrap metal, with the weight of it alone leading police to believe the crimes were well co-ordinated across the Rockhampton region.
