33 alerts across NSW, Queensland as heavy rain falls

More than 30 warnings have been issued across NSW and Queensland as heavy rain and flooding wreaks havoc across large parts of the nation’s eastern states.
Some regions could be hit by as much as 200mm of rain on Sunday, leading to flash flooding and potentially “life-threatening” conditions.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced on Sunday morning 10 State Emergency Service flood boats had been sent to assist rescue efforts in NSW, along with 40 crew and other resources.
