31-year-old charged with kidnapping toddler
A 31-year-old man will appear in court charged with child stealing after allegedly abducting a toddler from his cot in Brisbane while his family slept.
An amber alert was issued on Sunday morning after the horrified family of the 20-month-old woke to find their boy was missing from the home in Darra in the city’s southwest.
Police feared the boy was at significant risk with security footage showing a man wearing gloves and a medical mask pinching the toddler from his bed at 4.10am.
