Zimbabwe raises 100 mln USD for procurement of COVID-19 vaccines – Xinhua | English.news.cn – Xinhua

HARARE, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) — Zimbabwe has raised 100 million U.S. dollars for the procurement of COVID-19 vaccine doses to inoculate at least 60 percent of the country’s population.
Finance and Economic Development Permanent Secretary George Guvamatanga told state-run The Sunday Mail newspaper that Treasury was now awaiting authorization of the vaccines by local regulators before placing an order.
