ZERO new local cases of coronavirus in Queensland
Queensland has recorded no new locally acquired coronavirus cases on Boxing Day, but one person in hotel quarantine has tested positive.
The new infection brings to 11 the number of active cases in Queensland, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said in a tweet.
The person acquired the virus overseas.
It comes after two people travelling on a superyacht in the state’s north have tested positive, with the second confirmed on Christmas Day.
