AFL Players’ Association president Patrick Dangerfield has defended Richmond pair Shai Bolton and Daniel Rioli following their involvement in a nightclub altercation.
Bolton will miss two to three weeks with a fractured wrist after stepping in to defend Riolis girlfriend who was subjected to inappropriate behaviour.
Rioli was punched in the face after confronting the patron.
