Young woman killed after a speeding car veers onto wrong side of road

The 22-year-old female rider from Currajong died at the scene.
The driver of the Holden Statesman, a 25-year-old Bushland Beach man, and his two passengers, a 41-year-old Kirwan man and a 22-year-old Aitkenvale woman, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police will allege the driver of the stolen Hyundai failed to remain at the scene, however the car was located abandoned in Garbutt at about 11pm.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact them.
No charges have been laid.
