Young Gold Coast mum charged after baby son nearly dies from the drug ice
A young mother has been charged after her baby son ingested the drug ice, leaving him in a critical condition on the Gold Coast.
The woman, 20, is believed to have taken her 19-month-old son to a Hamilton Avenue unit in Surfers Paradise on November 6, where they were with a group of people.
It’s there he is believed to have ingested the drug.
After noticing her son was unwell, the woman took her baby onto the street outside the unit and alerted a member of the public, Queensland police say.
