There are six judges, three acting judges and one associate judge in Tasmania’s Supreme Court.

Two of them are called Stephen.

Only one is a woman.

The statistics are a little better when it comes to the state’s Magistrates Courts.

Six out of the 16 magistrates are women, including the Chief Magistrate Catherine Geason.
