The ABC’s biggest audience engagement project yet has given the editorial team valuable insights into the burning issues people wanted to know about throughout the pandemic.
None of us could have predicted it would get this big.
When ABC News launched a callout for audience questions about COVID-19 six months ago, we thought that with all the uncertainties in the early stages of the pandemic, this project was a great way to navigate the unknown together and give Australians the information they needed to know to stay safe and up to date.
We have had great success with similar projects in the past, such as inviting people to submit questions during elections.
