‘You are gifting your wicket’: Wade slammed for another soft dismissal – Sydney Morning Herald
Matthew Wade’s rash shot at the SCG on day two didn’t go down well with a couple of Australian greats.
On a couple of occasions, Wade got down on one knee to crunch two separate sweet shots into Hanuma Vihari legs. Indias bruised short-leg fieldsman went off the field shortly after to receive treatment.
But, as he did in the first innings in Melbourne, Wade suffered a serious brain fade when he advanced down the track to Jadeja but failed to get to the pitch of the delivery and skied a ball he had been trying to work into the leg side.
It was almost a carbon copy repeat of his dismissal at the top…
