Workers stood down after CCTV shows slack cleaning of Brisbane trains – ABC News
The workers employed to clean carriages for the company that manages the TransLink rail network could be seen sitting on their phones.

Two Brisbane train cleaners have been stood down after being caught on CCTV not doing their duties, Transport Minister Mark Bailey has confirmed.
- The footage revealed seven instances in late March of staff not performing the cleaning on trains as required
- Alstom, the contractor that manages the TransLink rail network, are still investigating
- TransLink says it is aware of any other public transport, such as buses, being affected by inadequate cleaning
