Two Brisbane train cleaners have been stood down after being caught on CCTV not doing their duties, Transport Minister Mark Bailey has confirmed.

  • The footage revealed seven instances in late March of staff not performing the cleaning on trains as required
  • Alstom, the contractor that manages the TransLink rail network, are still investigating
  • TransLink says it is aware of any other public transport, such as buses, being affected by inadequate cleaning
