Supermarket shoppers are told to look out for a sophisticated Facebook hoax which has scammed thousands of unsuspecting Aussies.
Woolworths customers have been warned to look out for a new scam that has fooled more than 50,000 unsuspecting Australians in just 10 hours.
The hoax has seen the fake Woolworths Store Facebook page offering a free grocery box to anyone who comments on its post.
More than 25,000 people commented on the scam post in just 10 hours, while 50,000 people shared it to friends and family.
A Woolworths spokesperson has confirmed that the supermarket is not affiliated with the post in any way.
