The supermarket giant has bowed to social media pressure and changed the name of its ‘Boomerang Wings’.

Woolworths has renamed its controversial Boomerang Wings chicken pack after a customer raised concerns about the branding on social media.
Posting on Twitter, the shopper accused the supermarket giant of being culturally insensitive by labelling packs of chicken wings as Boomerang Wings.
Whats up with this unnecessary and disrespectful cultural appropriation? asked Twitter user @Bonzamaaate.
