A Sydney panic-buying brawl that went viral worldwide saw a mother and daughter defending their actions in court.
Two women charged with affray for a brawl over toilet paper at the height of the coronavirus pandemic say they acted in self-defence.
Mother and daughter Treiza and Meriam Bebawy appeared in court on Friday over the incident at a Woolworths in Sydneys west in March.

In footage that quickly went viral, a group of women allegedly pushed, yelled and fought over a jumbo pack of toilet paper.
Treiza and Meriam were the only two to be charged over the incident.
