Woolworths is investigating a disturbing claim a woman was sold a chicken crawling with insects.
Kylie Mitrevski claims she bought half a barbecued chicken from a store in Mayfield, New South Wales, when she discovered the creepy crawlies.
She shared the label of the $5.50 purchase showing it had been bought on November 12 the same day she posted it to the supermarkets Facebook page.
Please explain why there are maggots in the roast chicken, which was purchased today? she wrote to Woolworths.
