Women who lied about trip to Melbourne COVID-19 hotspot are sentenced
Two Queensland women who lied about visiting Melbourne while it was a coronavirus hotspot have sentenced to community service.
Haja Umu Timbo and Diana Lasu, both 21, pleaded guilty in the Brisbane Magistrates Court for failing to comply with a public health direction was sentenced to 80 hours of unpaid community service.
