Woman’s body found in Gold Coast charity bin

Monday April 05, 2021
A woman’s body has been found in a charity bin on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
The woman’s body was found at a Burleigh Heads Stockland shopping centre just after 7am, police say.
The body was discovered by a person who had gone to donate items to the charity.
It is believed the woman may have become stuck in the bin, with police reportedly describing the incident as a “misadventure”.
Police have ruled out suspicious circumstances, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
