Woman with stab wounds found in boot of car at Berrima after waving for help through car’s broken tail light

A woman with multiple stab wounds has been found in the boot of a car after breaking the tail light and waving down a truck driver in the NSW Southern Highlands.

- The 24-year-old woman was stabbed in her knee, thigh and forearm
- A truck driver spotted the woman waving through a broken tail light
- Two women are being questioned by detectives
Police said the truck driver spotted a hand protruding through the tail light of a white Holden Commodore travelling south on the Hume Highway at Pheasants Next.
It took highway patrol officers 20 minutes to track down the car and rescue a 24-year-old woman from the boot at Berrima.
