Woman walking beachside at Kirra on Gold Coast stabbed in random early morning attack

A woman has been stabbed in a random attack during an early morning beachside walk on the Gold Coast.

The 34-year-old woman was on Marine Parade at Kirra, in the city’s south, about 5.20am on Monday when an unknown man approached her.

Police say he attempted to grab her but she resisted.
