Woman shot in the arm as police launch land and air search for two male suspects north of Brisbane

A 21-year-old woman is in a serious but stable condition after being shot in the arm at a house in Burpengary East, north of Brisbane on Thursday.
Police said at least two men forced their way into a home at Talbot Way just after 1:00pm on Thursday before a gun was fired and the woman was shot.
They said six people, including two children, were at the property at the time but no one else was injured.
The Curra woman was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
