Woman jailed for nine years after fatally stabbing partner

A Queensland woman who stabbed her partner in anger with a hunting knife has been sentenced to nine years in prison over his death.

- Renee Helen Blockey pleaded guilty to manslaughter after the Crown accepted she had not intended to kill John Windle
- Blockey will be eligible for parole in January 2022, after serving three years and nine months behind bars
