Woman in wheelchair alleges discrimination by Dreamworld over ride refusal

A leading disability advocate claims she was denied being able to join her toddler son on a ride at Dreamworld because she’s in a wheelchair.
Karni Liddell, a Paralympic swimming champion, said she was left “beyond frustrated, sad and angry” by her treatment at the Gold Coast theme park on Thursday.

Liddell, 41, said she thought a ride attendant was “joking” when he asked if she had medical clearance in the form of a certificate to ride the “Dronkey Flyers”…
