Woman found dead near Todd River in Alice Springs, male partner arrested

A 49-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was found dead near an Alice Springs riverbed overnight.

In a statement, Northern Territory police said they received reports from the man around 12.20am Monday that a woman was unresponsive near the Todd River.
